“We’re all just walking each other home.” Ram Dass

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to explore my bio. My name is Adrian (he/him), and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm so glad you found your way here! Seeking therapy is a major step in the process of healing. If you are searching for support and hope, you’re in the right place. It is an honor to be a part of your journey.

I love working with...

My practice is centered on supporting individuals facing questions of gender exploration, sexuality, identity formation, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, processing trauma, and resolving interpersonal conflict. I work with adults, teens, and couples.

Some of my favorite approaches include...

My work is explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming, relationship-diverse, trauma-informed, sex-positive, kink-knowledgeable, and from a harm-reduction perspective. As a therapist who is queer, transgender, and a first-generation immigrant, I am deeply committed to supporting my communities.

I use a Psychodynamic approach which incorporates tools and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. With couples, I use Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). No singular model of therapy is the perfect fix for every person. Our work together will be uniquely tailored to fit your needs in a style that is natural and comfortable to you.

How I help...

My approach is deeply empathetic, wholly collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based. I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you in your journey. To navigate this path asks of us honesty, openness, bravery, and self-compassion. This is what we will practice together in the process of learning to hold safety and trust within ourselves. We will navigate the challenges of your past and present to build a more complete, balanced, and meaningful existence.

I believe...

It is a basic human need to see and to feel seen. To struggle is a universal experience and you don't have to face to struggle alone. You are loved just for being who you are, just for existing. No one can take this love away from you, and it will always be here. We are all just trying to find our way back to that love.

I believe that the purpose of therapy is to realize yourself as a whole person. By integrating who we are with how we want to be, we can find peace and fulfillment through the continuous experiencing of truth. Profound transformation is possible when you are ready and willing to engage with your authentic self.

What it's like in session with me...

The therapy space we collaboratively create is a place to share your experiences safely and have them received empathetically. I take very seriously the trust that you place in our work together, and I will honor your needs. You are the expert on your own life, and your lived experiences are valuable. I will support you with warmth and compassion in the process of understanding who you are, healing from your pain, and reconstructing your life story.
