Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD) who is passionate about mentoring and guiding pre-licensed clinicians.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, trauma-informed therapist who is enthusiastic about fostering professional growth and clinical excellence through both individual and group supervision.

  • Provide individual clinical supervision for up to 6 pre-licensed associates
  • Add 1–2 group supervision sessions as needed
  • Support supervisees with treatment planning, ethical decision-making, documentation, and clinical conceptualization
  • Document supervision sessions using electronic health records
  • Attend staff meetings, clinical trainings, and case consultations
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with board and agency standards
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff
  • Maintain a clinical caseload of at least 15 clients per week
  • Qualifications

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy
    • Active, unrestricted California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD)
    • Up-to-date Clinical Supervision CEUs and board eligibility to supervise
    • Minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience
    • Strong trauma-informed and culturally responsive clinical approach
    • Experience with couples and families preferred
    • Familiarity with the military population preferred
    • Passion for mentorship and a growth-minded, team-oriented work culture

    If you feel you can bring your whole self and want to join a practice that welcomes you with open arms, please take note of the following when submitting your application:
    • Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy
    • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of California
    • OR Active, unrestricted provisional license (LPC, LSW, MFT) in the State of California. A copy must be provided to Hope Therapy Group.
    • Available 15 hours a week with the expectation of holding at least 12 client hours
    • Work 2 weeknights or a weekend + a weeknight (weeknights are identified as 4-8pm and weekend considered 6 hours)
