Just like the lotus, we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness, and radiate into the world.
Hi! I’m Dani (she/her/hers), and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University. Outside the therapy room, I love all things Disney and Gilmore Girls and spending time with my cats, Jasper and Duncan, and dog, Luna.
I love working with...
Teens, young adults, and families. I have experience working with clients navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and trauma.
Some of my favorite approaches include...
Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, using a strength-based and client-centered approach. Rooted in curiosity and care, I tailor our work to what feels most supportive and meaningful for you
How I help...
Therapy with me is a partnership where you can feel safe to be yourself without judgment. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, identify what matters most, and uncover your inner resources. I offer thoughtful reflection and practical strategies to help you build resilience and create more meaning in your day-to-day life.
I believe...
...Healing and growth happen within safe, trusting relationships, when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
...You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion as you connect with your strengths and make sense of your experiences.
What it's like in session with me
In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative space where we can explore both what’s challenging and what’s going well. Early on, I take time to get to know you, your story, your values, and your hopes for therapy. I’ll meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. Our work may include reflection, conversation, and moments of lightness or humor. I bring curiosity and compassion to each session and strive to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected as you navigate life’s ups and downs.
