I thrive on empowering people to become the best versions of themselves. By investing in people’s mental health we enable generations to contribute to a world of abundance and peace.
I am an AMFT and a Creative Arts Therapist, specialized in Drama Therapy
I love working with...
I’m especially drawn to working with families, children, couples, and adults, including clients navigating trauma, attachment disruptions, and systemic stressors.I also have deep experience supporting families impacted by domestic violence, and I’m comfortable working across diverse cultural backgrounds and bilingual/multilingual contexts.
Some of my favorite approaches include...
My work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, systemic, and experiential. I integrate evidence-based and relational approaches such as Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security, Play Therapy and Incredible Years. As a Creative Arts Therapist specializing in Dramatherapy, I often use the Embodiment–Projection–Role (EPR) model, psychodrama, and storytelling to help clients access emotions safely, shift stuck roles, and practice new ways of relating. I also bring an intersectional lens—especially around gender equity, emotional intelligence, and sustainable partnership dynamics. In couples work, I’m particularly aligned with depth-oriented relational work and Relational Life Therapy (RLT).
How I help...
I’m an active, engaged therapist who balances warmth with clarity and structure. You can expect me to: help you identify patterns (in yourself, your relationships, and your family system) and understand where they came from, build practical skills for emotional regulation, communication, and conflict resolution, use creative, experiential interventions (when it fits) so therapy isn’t only talking—clients can feel change and practice it in real time, and coordinate care when needed (case management, referrals, and collaboration with community supports).
I believe...
...healing happens in relationship—and new relational experiences can create lasting change. Clients are the experts in their strengths; therapy helps uncover them, strengthen them, and use them intentionally. Equity matters in the therapy room and at home—relationships thrive when power, care, and responsibility are more balanced.
What it's like in session with me
A new client can expect a start that feels grounded, collaborative, and paced:We’ll begin with a thoughtful assessment and a clear sense of what you want therapy to help with. I’ll ask about your relationships, stressors, strengths, and what’s felt stuck—then we’ll set realistic goals and a plan. Sessions may include skills + insight + experiential work (depending on your comfort): talking, reflection, and sometimes creative/embodied exercises to explore patterns safely. We’ll check in regularly about what’s working, and adjust together—therapy with me is a partnership.
