The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
— Carl Rogers
Hello, I’m Victoria Luna (she/her), and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at Hope Therapy Group.
I love working with...
I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families who may be navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, past trauma, grief and loss, or the emotional impact of stress and change.
Some of my favorite approaches include...
My approach integrates person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care, including EMDR. I approach therapy with cultural humility and view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership grounded in trust and respect. My goal is to help clients gain insight into their experiences, build practical tools for resilience, and move toward greater clarity, connection, and personal growth.
How I help...
I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported so they can explore their experiences and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
I believe...
...therapy can be a space for reflection, healing, and growth.
What it's like in session with me
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and respected. Our work together is collaborative and moves at a pace that feels right for you. We may explore past and present experiences, identify strengths, and develop practical tools to support healing and growth, sometimes integrating approaches such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral techniques, or EMDR. My intention is to create a space where you can feel safe to be open and work toward greater self-understanding, stronger relationships, and a more balanced life.
Reaching out for support can be an important first step, and I aim to provide a compassionate and collaborative environment where clients can move at their own pace.
