And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
– Anaïs Nin
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
My pronouns are she/her, and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, families, teens, and children heal and grow through a trauma-focused approach. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in authenticity. I bring empathy and curiosity into every session while honoring each person’s unique story. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe and supported as you move toward greater self-understanding and healing.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from different evidence-based therapies and tailoring my work to each person’s needs, goals and pace. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), depending on what is most helpful for each client.
Areas I work with include complex trauma, anxiety, depression, perinatal mood disorders, grief and loss, parenting challenges, and questions around cultural identity and belonging. I also work with clients navigating life transitions such as relocation, starting over, changes within family relationships, or shifts in career and identity.
I believe therapy can serve as a blueprint to help you move forward with greater intention, clarity and hope. As poet Mary Oliver once wrote, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” I would be honored to explore that question alongside you in a way that feels meaningful and true to who you are.
