Connection begins with curiosity
Hello! My name is Emmanuel Padron (he/him), and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring whatever brings them to therapy. I believe meaningful growth begins with genuine connection, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward the changes that matter most to them. I am bilingual in English and Tagalog and enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through running, spending time outdoors, listening to music, and playing the guitar.
I love working with...
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process and are open to exploring new perspectives, even if they're not sure where to start. Whatever brings you to therapy, we'll work together to better understand what's going on and find a path forward.
Some of my favorite approaches include...
I enjoy integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) into my work. More than any one approach, I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My priority is to build trust and create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, and together we'll find a path that helps you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and clarity.
How I help...
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine partnership. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported without judgment. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move toward the life you want with greater confidence and resilience.
I believe...
...every person has a story worth hearing, and healing begins when we feel safe enough to share it.
What it's like in session with me
Therapy with me is conversational, collaborative, and relaxed. Many clients find that it doesn't always feel like "therapy" in the traditional sense—it feels like having an honest conversation with someone who's genuinely in their corner. We'll work together to better understand what's bringing you in, develop practical tools for everyday life, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
